Whoo hoo! We had another great check up at the Dr. and she said to keep up the good work. On February 2nd I will be going off the Terbutaline! So anytime after that the little guy could be here! The only issue is that I am having contractions even with the meds, and she warned me that its going to get worse once I stop the medication :( She also said that going off of them doesnt mean I will go straight into Labor. So we will see how long it takes him to make his appearance! No matter what i cant wait to see Austins sweet little face! Here is a picture of the belly at 35 weeks!

Baby Shower
It is Sunday afternoon and all the boys are watching the Bears game... *yawn* so I decided to update our blog! Austin is currently bouncing around my belly making it turn into all sorts of shapes, thats all the entertainment I need!
On Friday afternoon I got a cd of pictures from my cousin Robin (THANKS ROBIN) of all the pictures she took at the shower and the few I took on her camera (I couldnt resist!). Here are a few pictures from back in November when Austin and I were showered with love from my family and friends in Indiana!

Me and my momma again!
Grandma Buddy showing some love to Austin!
Clearly we are all related! We all matched! My grandma and my Aunt Brenda!
Me with Aunt Sandra and Uncle Kenny! So very happy they were able to make it!
This is a tradition that dates back before my time! The pregnant women in the family always paired up with the Marquis men to compare bellies!
ROBIN!!! She was my Maid of Honor in our wedding and I could not have asked for a better cousin! I love her and she is just like a sister to me! We were suppose to plan out the whole kid thing together... but we screwed that up! Sorry Robin!
This sweet girl is Grace... she is my little cousin... and lets just say she is beside herself with excitement for Austin to get here! She thinks she has been the baby for long enough and it is Austins turn for a while!
I am super excited for this coming Friday! My friends at work are throwing me a shower! They had to move the date up since Austin has been a little impatient and we want to make sure he does not come to the shower! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend with your families! I am super lucky to have my hubby, I could not have done this bedrest thing without his love and support! XOXO hun!

34 Weeks and 4 Wonderful Years!
Well folks we made it to 34 weeks! The Dr said everything is still looking the same and Austin is doing great! His heart rate and mine have gone down which means we are finally getting used to the Terbutaline! About 2 1/2 weeks and I get to stop the medication and let nature takes it course! It is so exciting knowing that we will get to meet the little guy so soon! We are just over the moon with excitement! Here are some pictures of me at 34 weeks :)
Today marks the 4th wedding anniversary of Clay and I and it has been such an amazing ride! In 4 short years we have moved to Bluffton SC, rented an apartment, got two AMAZING dogs who we love so very much and they always keep us laughing, moved into a rental house, and bought our first home, and now i cant believe we are expecting our first child in a few short weeks! We have been truly blessed these past 4 years and i cant wait to see what life holds for us in the future! Here is a picture of us when we got back home from dinner! The shadow makes us look like coneheads!

I LOVE this picture! Tyson seems to think he is a cat and it laying on top of the couch draping himself over Clay!
As you can tell we love our dogs, im sure they are excited for Austin to get here so i will give them a break taking pictures!

Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas even though i was stuck on the couch on bedrest. Here are a few of the decorations!
Kayden really didnt want to have her picture taken in front of the tree....
but then I talked her into it, and Tyson was a good boy and joined in!
Here is our Tree all lit up!
I went back to the Dr. on Tuesday and great news... still no change! While i was there they had to hook me up to the monitor again because 1. I had not felt him move that morning and 2. I had 3 contractions with the Dr. in the room. Once hooked up to the monitor and Austin could hear his heartbeat on the monitor of course he decided to do summersaults which made me feel much better! Once again I head back on Tuesday and we are still hoping for no change. We talked about taking me off the terbutaline between 36 and 37 weeks which means we might have a baby before Valentines Day! Depending on how long it takes for me to go into active labor! I am feeling much more prepared for him now that we have most of the essentials to bring him home! I ALSO have my bag packed now...phew! We are ready for baby when he comes!

32 Weeks
It has been an eventful week to say the least. I went to my normal Dr. visit last Wednesday and thought the only thing that was going to happen was getting my blood pressure checked and weighed! Oh Boy was i wrong! When Dr. Norton was measuring my belly she noticed i was having a contraction and asked me how often that has been happening. I had called the week before because i was having them and they thought they were just Braxton Hicks contractions. So she hooked me up to the monitor and sure enough i was having contractions and quite a bit about 3 minutes apart! She then checked me and sent me to the hospital. I ended up having to get 2 injections of Terbutaline to stop contractions (which by the way OUCH) the first injection did not work at all and they had to wait to give me the second injection because my heart rate was too fast. It took a while for the second one to work but it did, praise the Lord! After the contractions simmered down the next thing i knew i was getting dressed and sent on my way with antibiotics for a UTI and a prescription for Terbutaline to take every 4 hours. I was put on bed rest until my appt. on Tuesday. Over Christmas my hubby waited on my every need he was absolutely wonderful and we have a great Christmas at the house! I was still having contractions even though i was taking the meds. So i went back to the Dr. on Tuesday and she seems to think that Austin will be here within a few weeks (i still have 55 days till my due date) We are praying he stays put until 34 weeks so he can be delivered in Beaufort and that way his lungs can develop a little more, but we would be VERY happy if he made it to the 37 week mark! I am still on bed rest but she is allowing me to go into work for a few hours here and there and do some work from home.
Clay and I are both scared out of our mind but the Dr. keeps telling us that he is going to be just fine. Needless to say God never gives you more than you can handle and we will continue to trust in his plan! I go back to the Dr. on Tuesday and will update on little Austin after that! Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us!

30 weeks
I am *30* weeks pregnant! I cant believe how fast this is all flying by! As of today i have approximately 68 days left! I am certainly enjoying feeling him move around and knowing what body part is pushing/kicking! What i haven't been enjoying is the lack of sleep and the bags under my eyes, the constant back pain, and the huge swollen achy ankles! But none of that seems so bad when he gets the hiccups and I just sit and giggle watching my belly go up and down!
The room is finally painted, thanks to Darlenes help! His furniture is all put together and his bookshelf painted! Pictures soon to come! It looks like a baby room and it looks exactly how I pictured it would!
My friend Teresa took some maternity pictures of me last week and they turned out beautiful! It was super cold but we had such a great time and went exploring! We found some abandoned rail road tracks that made for some beautiful pictures! Here are a few of them and more to come later after she gets some time after the holidays to edit!

7 Months and 1 weeks
Hello Friends! I am super sorry for slacking in my updating but i have been a combination of busy/sleepy! I celebrated my 25th birthday, had my amazing shower with my wonderful family and friends in Indiana (Robin will be getting me pictures soon i hope), a tasty Thanksgiving, and then went to pick up my gifts in TN from my parents this weekend! We are busy trying to get Austins room put together! The room was a storage room so i have been organizing it and trying to find places for everything! Soon paint will go on the walls! We picked up his crib and changing table tonight and will be putting those together this week sometime! YAY for things coming together!
I am in my THIRD trimester now! Crazy! I passed my glucose test (barely)! Austin is measuring a week small but they said that is nothing to worry about! I have gained a total of .... 17 pounds! I never thought i would see those numbers on the scale haha! I have been feeling great for the most part, some back pain here and there but not too bad for the most part thanks to my awesome Dr. Zitello shooting me up with lidocain! If the pain gets worse, since i am not in my third trimester i can get steroid injections ... apparently they help develop his lungs! The one thing i am having issues with is my always swelling ankles and legs! Probably due to all of my leg surgeries i have had in the past! Needless to say by the time I get off of work I am MORE than ready to get home and rest with my feet up! Here is a picture of me at 27 weeks 6 days ... and one of the dogs loving on uncle Rob! Oh and a few people have asked where we are registered at so i said i would put it on the blog...
